
Richmond Therapeutic Health Services, Inc. was established in 2018. The founder, Josh Brinkley was looking for ways to give back to the community that had helped him so much as he was growing up. With a passion for helping those with mental illnesses, RTHS was established as a way to provide support, resources, and training to individuals with a mental health diagnosis.
Through a suite of special practices and services, RTHS helps individuals maintain continued stability in their lives. The staff at RTHS is understanding, empathetic, and committed to helping individuals with a mental health diagnosis live a happy, healthy life. By providing re-enforced education and support programs. RTHS is able to help individuals with a mental illness live their everyday life as normal as possible. Richmond Therapeutic Health Services, Inc. is licensed by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and the Department of Medical Assistance Services.

Shareka Eldridge is a person centered, trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the state of Texas. He has extensive experience working in community-based, home, and school settings, supporting both adults and adolescents who face difficulties with emotional regulation, daily living skills, symptom management, and community integration.
Throughout his career, AL-Terek has worked with individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness, trauma-related disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. His MHSS work emphasizes improving functional outcomes, including medication adherence, coping skills development, communication and problem-solving skills, emotional regulation, and independent living skills.
AL-Terek is highly experienced in collaborating with multidisciplinary treatment teams, families, and community providers to ensure continuity of care and individualized, goal-driven support. He utilizes a client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach, integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based strategies.
